After a quick start from the throw in Calum Casserley gets the ball into Darragh Heffernan to take the first score of the game but Drumree keeping with Trim score

for score with blinding evening sun adding an extra layer of difficulty for the Trim forwards

The Trim mid field were working hard to deny Drumree any easy chances and Trim’s midfield put up a strong defence, with Garry Fleming solidly positioned at

centre-back to intercept any loose balls.

With the Drumree keeper placing the ball straight into the Trim full back line it was Cormac Doyle and Ben Gaffney cleaning up and stopping any goal chances.

George Douglas played a pivotal role in keeping Trim’s score ticking and after a sloppy tackle leading to Cian Lee going off injured Daniel Fox joins the play, with some vengeance added to Trim spirits George Douglas takes onboard the Drumree defence to fire home and raise the green flag for the Trim lads.

With a high-tension game being played out the Trim lads were not letting Drumree take over, working hard to go into the half time break just a point behind

Drumree were on the attack from the throw in with 2 quick scores to keep themselves on top. A fast paced and physical game but a strong Drumree first team

proving that bit faster to the breaking ball keeping the score board moving from their side and stopping any Trim attack to come through this encounter to take the

win.

This game proved a great outing for the young Trim team gaining more experience in skills and resilience as the league progresses.
