Full Time Áth Troim 2-15 Bhulf Tóns 1-05
A scoreline that doesn’t truly reflect a very competitive, thrilling and hard-fought encounter between Trim and Bhulf Tóns in this Div 5 League Final
From the throw in it was Trim that set the pace with Julianne getting the girls off to a flying start, winning possession and sending it straight over the bar.
But it was Bhulf Tóns that came back and hit the back of the Trim net with a quickly taken goal, but Trim's defence, given this early note of intent from the opposition stepped up and stood strong to keep them in check.
Leah kept the scoreboard ticking with a well-taken free, while Chantel added a nice point before Aoife O’Brien linked up with Leah to bury the ball in the back of the net.

Despite Bhulf Tóns responding with some pressure and scores, their wides were to prove costly. A solid sideline from Emma led to a Leah free which she calmly slotted over.
HT: Trim 1-04 Bhulf Tóns 1-04
With both teams so evenly matched Trim made changes at the break with Abigail and Ellen Murray coming on and they instantly made an impact on the game
Ellen, on her adult debut, hit the back of the net and followed up with a series of points, linking brilliantly with Leah and Emma O’Neill, who also added to the growing Trim tally. Grace’s pass to Emma led to another classy point.
Bhulf Tóns struggled to regain their first-half momentum, only managing their first score of the second half from a free. The Trim girls capitalised on halftime adjustments, shifting to a faster-paced and more dynamic style of play. These changes enabled them to take scoring opportunities more effectively, resulting in more points on the board
Ellen was unstoppable, adding more points and setting up Abigail for another. Mary made a crucial save and Ellen capped off a stellar performance by pointing the final score. As the game progressed, the Trim girls’ energy and game execution were key in maintaining their competitive edge.
Every player contributed to the overall win, true dedication to the end was given
